ABOUT THE SOCKS - LIVERPOOL 1989 HOME SHIRT - RETRO SOCKS
-
Our Liverpool 1989 retro home shirt socks are based on one of Liverpools most iconic retro shirts. The 1989 home was has a distinctive white dash pattern on a red shirt. The shirt was also sponsored by Candy. In 1989 Liverpool were managed by former legendary player Kenny Dalglish and won the league by 9pts pipping Aston Villa who were runners up. At the time it was unthinkable that it would be Liverpools last league title for 30 years. Some of Liverpools key players that season were John Barnes (who scored 28 goals that season), Ian Rush, and Ronnie Whelan.
