Our Ireland World Cup Italia 90 Retro Shirt Socks are inspired by Ireland's most iconic international shirt. The shirt by Adidas was green and featured a feint chevron design pattern. The 1990 World Cup was Ireland's first World Cup finals appearance and a hugely successful one too. After a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Romania in the last 16, the team reached the quarter finals, narrowly losing to hosts Italy 1-0. Some of Ireland's most memorable players from the tournament included, Paul McGrath, Packie Bonner, Kevin Sheedy, and Niall Quinn.
